We don't have much going on here, but I wanted to post a couple of pictures of the girls so everyone can see how big they are getting and how cute they are! Kayla is pretty sweet to Lexi most of the time. As you can see, she likes to hold her hand right now and she also likes to "hold" her. This entails me holding Lexi and Kayla just wrapping her arms around her. It's a good thing I have her because when Kayla is done she just drops her arms. Kayla is also interested in pockets right now so she was digging in Lexi's the other day while she was laying on her tummy defenseless. I guess she thought she had something interesting in them!

I'm awake!
Lost in Fun!
Mom and Dad decided to take me to an indoor playground on Saturday and it was lots of fun! The weather has been so cold it was nice to go somewhere and burn off some energy. I loved playing in the ball pit and going down the big slides. Mom didn't get a good picture of me on the tire swing because I was too busy watching what the big kids were doing. We went and ate lunch after playing and as you can see I was exhausted after a morning of fun!

The Youngs came to Lincoln for a visit and to meet Lexi. What a fun time we all had! The weather was nice outside, but there was still snow on the ground so Grammy helped me make my first snowman. I was busy cleaning off the table so it didn't last long, but at least Mom was able to get a picture before I sent it flying. Aunt Tricia really loved Guitar Hero and we were able to talk Grandpa Doug into trying it out also. Thanks for coming to see us - come again soon!!!

Fun in Mullen!
Dad and I headed out to Mullen New Year's Day for some fun with the Youngs. Mom and Lexi stayed behind - they don't know how much fun they missed! The weather was really nice while we were there so I got to spend some time outside. I also got to play on Grammy's piano, I think I'm a natural. Uncle Dan got a new video game for Christmas and Mom thinks he probably had a hard time keeping my hands off of it even though I got my own gifts. Uncle Travis got me this awesome cheerleader that does lots of LOUD cheers. Mom and Dad keep saying, don't worry, he will have kids some day. I'm not sure what they mean, but it sounds like they have something up their sleeves. I had to take one last look at the fish before we took off and even got to help Grammy feed them. I had lots of fun in Mullen, but Mom was so glad to see me (and Dad) when we got home.
Late Night
As you can tell from the first picture, I recently had a late night staying up taking care of Lexi. Mom and Dad decided I was big enough to do it and they went to bed leaving me in charge. I'm just kidding of course, but I still do a pretty good job of giving her the paci and then taking it back. I also like to stick my finger in the middle of her pacifier because it feels like she's actually sucking on it. I still give her kisses every now and then am trying to teach her new things, like how to look at herself in the mirror on her swing. I love to look at myself in the mirror, but who wouldn't!
Happy New Year!
We were so lucky that the Hardins were on their way back from Arkansas on New Year's Eve. Ethan and Brandon just couldn't pass through Lincoln without stopping to see their girlfriends! Mom and Dad talked them into spending the night, but our parents were pretty pathetic for such an exciting night. They ordered supper in and Mom forgot all about the margarita Sarah made her. Shelby fell asleep putting Ethan to bed, but Dad managed to wake him up before midnight. I sure hope I don't act like them once I have kids. I guess we didn't get any pictures of the adults together, but they always get lots of us. Look at me attacking Ethan with a hug! I rarely give hugs away, but I just couldn't get enough of him. I'm sure Lexi would have hugged Brandon, but they can't even sit up yet. We hope to see them all again soon!

Seriously?
Kayla has to have the worst case of bed head I have ever seen. It is like this after every nap and every morning. I finally broke down and took a picture of it because it is just so bad! I have no idea how it happens and this day was particularly perplexing since she was in the exact same position the entire time she was sleeping. Good thing is she has a hard head (big surprise) and doesn't mind letting me comb it.

Visitors from Germany
Gramps's brother Kevin and his family came from Germany to spend Christmas in Nebraska. They came to Lincoln for New Year's so they stopped by to visit us. My "cousins" Eric and Jens each held me for a while. Jens was very nervous, but he did a great job. I slept the whole time! We won't get to see them for another couple of years so I can't imagine how big Kayla and I will be next time they are here.
Christmas Day
Here are some pictures of us checking out what Santa brought. I had to help Lexi get the stuff out of her stocking since she is so little. Mom and Dad were afraid I would claim everything as mine, but I know what belongs to each one of us. I'll even bring Lexi some of her toys and blankets throughout the day, but I don't like to share my stuff. We also got a picnic table from Grammy and Grandpa Doug. I'm so excited to do crafts and other fun things on it. Thanks Grammy and Grandpa!
