Pumpkin Carving

Dad picked out the perfect pumpkin for us to carve while we were at the pumpkin patch so when we had a nice day a couple of weeks ago we decided we better get it carved - it's been cold and rainy here a lot!

Not so sure about what's inside.
Neither of us like to get our hands
dirty so we'll see what happens.

Checking it out.

Mom made Dad stick his hand in for me.
I'm pretty sure he only did it once.

If he can do it, so can I!
I only did it once also.
Then we both went in and washed our hands.

We heard if you put vaseline on the pumpkin
it would last up to two weeks longer.
I didn't get the memo that it was for the parts you cut,
not the outside.

Photoshoot Gone Wrong

All Mom wanted was a nice picture of Lexi and I sitting with the pumpkins. That doesn't sound like too much to ask for does it? Apparently it was. This is the madness that ensued.

Here's your pumpkin Lexi.

Here's mine!

Making progress - we're both looking.

Losing my mind.

I'm outta here.

They reigned be back in
to give Lexi a hug.
Didn't go as planned.

Lexi isn't feeling the love.

Don't think this picture is going to happen Mom.

Awww. . . isn't Lexi beautiful!

I'm back, but still not cooperating.

They moved us up to the next level
hoping for a little more control.

Looks like this is the best Mom is going to get!
However, I get the feeling we haven't seen the
last of these straw bales.

To be continued.....

First Snow of the Season!

Mom said October 10 is way too early for snow, but I didn't mind! It was lots of fun to be able to walk through it and clean off all the pumpkins, tables and chairs. Thank goodness we had just bought a new winter coat. Mom doesn't want any more snow for the rest of the winter, but I was upset I couldn't build a snowman so I hope we get enough for one of those.

Checking it out

Lexi wants to come play!

Pitching in to help and shoveling
off the table.

Dad finally let Lexi come play,
hence the outfit. At least
she was warm.

Of course Tricia had to come out
and go for a stroll!

Preschool Playtime - Fire Safety!

Dialing 911

Painting a "fire"

Lexi had fun too!
She eventually pulled the entire tray
down and Mom had to pick up all the dots!

Putting out the fires.
Watch out Lexi - it's hot!

Making a vest and badge

Checking out the "smoke" on the rocket
during lift off with Brody.

I love face painting!

More Museum Fun

Uh oh Lexi! I'm pretty sure those aren't
supposed to come off.

Showing Lexi how to build things with legos.

GO BIG RED!!!
(The Razorbacks of course!)

Baking a delicious pizza for
Mom and Lexi.

I didn't feel like getting my picture taken,
but doesn't Lexi look cute riding a duck.
