Martin's Hillside Orchard

There is an awesome orchard only about 10 minutes from our house and their raspberries were ready to be picked so we thought we would go help them out! I'm pretty sure I did a lot more eating than picking so it's a good thing they didn't weigh me when I got there and again when I left - I don't think Mom and Dad could have afforded the trip! I'm looking forward to next year when Lexi is big enough to run around with me. I'm sure we will eat those poor people out of house and home. They also had peaches and Gala apples that were ready to be picked, but I was so full by the time we got to those that I didn't sample any. I can't wait to go back next month for some more apples and a pumpkin!

Rain, rain, go away!!!

Farmers Market

The Farmers Market is always a great way to spend a Saturday morning - especially this year with all the great weather we had! There is always lots of people, live music, trains to climb on and of course lots of great fruits and veggies. We got a couple of other things this trip in addition to our food:

Lexi got a headband Mom can stick
a bow on because we don't think
she will ever get enough hair for one.

I shared my chapstick with Lexi
because her lips looked dry
after chewing on Mom's sunglasses
for a while.

I got a flower balloon and a sucker
from a very friendly clown!
