Fun in the sun (and sand)

God must have been listening because after Mom complained about snow at the beginning of October he has blessed us with beautiful fall weather since!

One of Lexi's first times in the sandbox.

We are impressed she is just admiring the
sand and not eating it.

Building a "castle".

Maybe she did eat a little.

Look Who's Walking!!!

I can't believe my baby sister is walking! She really only walks between people right now, but I'm sure she will be chasing me around in no time!

Preschool Playtime

We still enjoy going to Preschool Playtime at the museum. It seems to get busier every week so everyone else must enjoy it also! Lexi loves it when they have the short tables set up so she can reach in and play since she tends to eat most crafty items.

Pioneers Park

We have had such great fall weather that we try and get out and enjoy it as much as possible! One weekend we went to feed the geese and check out the other animals with Dad. It such a great place to run and explore with so many things to see. They also have a nature center we can visit when it gets cold outside so expect to see some of those adventures soon!

Visit from Jorja

We always have a great time when Jorja comes to visit and this time was no exception! The second she walked in the house we started playing like we saw each other every day. We got to eat lunch and hang out at the Children's Museum. Wish we could do things together more often!

Halloween 2009

Halloween was a blast! I'm a little shy around people I don't know (and even some neighbors I do know) so we weren't sure how this door to door thing was going to go down. It was quite the success. I was a little reserved at the first couple of houses, but when I found out I got candy at every house I went to, Mom and Dad had a hard time keeping up with me. I ran with my bag open from house to house and either banged on the door or rang the doorbell if I could reach it. Lexi had a great time just watching all the chaos. Can't wait for next year!

Ready to roll!

Action shot of me running from house to house.

Checking out the loot

I don't know why no one would give me candy at
my own house. I'm sure Sophie would have
if she could open the door.

Boo at the Zoo!

Uncle Shane stopped by today and said he has been waiting on pictures from Halloween so I told Mom she better get some up for all of you! I try to keep her up to date on these things, but Dad and Lexi keep her pretty busy. However, I'm no trouble at all. We headed to our local zoo on the Tuesday before Halloween to begin our week of festivities. I did remarkably well with all the creatures, costumes and even kept my eyes open when the train went through the tunnel. We were all a little unsure of how I would react, but I had a blast! Lexi was her normal laid back self and enjoyed watching everything that was going on. It's fun to think that next year we won't have a stroller because she will be walking with me!

I wanted to give him a hug!

The best picture Mom got of us together.
We are crayons in case you can't tell.
"Rose" and "Plum".

Running to the frog to hug him.

Hanging on for dear life -
Mom is driving!

First treat of the night

Checking to see what's in the bag.
I can't believe someone would just
GIVE me candy!

A nice lady gave this to Lexi.
She probably had no idea Lexi would
chew on it until chocolate came out and
that Dad would have no idea this was going on.
