My First Slush!

It was so hot and humid around here last week that Mom loaded us up and headed to Sonic's happy hour for a treat to help us cool down. I have to say that I thought that was a great idea! Mom let me choose between grape and cherry and by the looks of my red tongue you can probably guess which one I chose. We couldn't leave Lexi out so we got out her cup and filled it with cold water - must be a bummer to be a baby!

I actually asked to get out of my swing

so I could help Mom push Lexi.

I want to make sure she gets good swing experiences.

Swinging is one of my very favorite things to do and I am so happy that Lexi can swing with me now! We walk to the park almost every morning and the first thing we do is hop on the swings. I think Lexi is going to like it just as much as I do!

Platte River State Park

We headed down the interstate about 20 minutes a couple of weeks ago and enjoyed a great weekend at the Platte State River Park.

Look who finally decided to sit up...

...and drive a car all in one day!  She actually did it a couple of weeks ago, but we have been so busy Mom hasn't had a chance to let everyone know the good news.  One step closer to total domination over Mom and Dad!

A Visit From Rusty

We finally had a long overdue visit from Rusty.  He's always so much fun to play with when he's not picking on me, which isn't often.  I wasn't too interested in wearing his pilot's hat because I was afraid it would mess up my pigtails, but Lexi didn't care.  Maybe that's because she doesn't have much hair to mess up!
