Not Another One!!!

I found Dad's "Fantasy Football Legend" shirt and just had to put it on.  Dad spends so much time doing it there must be something special about it!  Mom is really afraid she is going to have two fantasy football fans in the house and she says one is enough!  I think it would be nice for Dad and I to share a hobby.  We'll see in a few years. . .

Winter already?

I found these tights that Mom bought me for this winter and insisted that she put them on.  I think they looked really nice with my PJ top, but Mom didn't agree.  She made me change before I could leave the house.

More Fun with the Hardins

Shelby, Sarah, Ethan and Brandon came to Lincoln a couple of weekends ago and we had so much fun!  Ethan is such a big boy and I learn so much from him.  He was teaching me how to fill up a bucket with rocks and the next morning he was reading me a story about dogs.  I can't believe how much he knows!  However, I couldn't spend all my time with him.  I had to look out for baby Brandon.  I was still really interested in him and all the gear that comes with babies.  Mom hopes this lasts until our baby comes.  We took them to the Children's Museum so I could show them all how much fun it is.  Daddy doesn't usually go with us since we go during the week so it was a special treat for all of us.  I liked showing him how much fun I had in water then I jumped off the side of the chair and he caught me.  That was FUN!!!  I had to arrest him later and throw him in the back of my sheriff's car.  We never made it to the jail though because I had to go help Ethan build things in the construction area.  After the museum we went to South Pointe so Shelby could get some hunting gear at Scheels and then we all stopped and had ice cream at Coldstone - yummy!  We hated to see them go since it was such a fun weekend, but we hope to see them again soon!

Random Pictures

Here are some pictures from some time I spent outside one day last week.  There was a huge grasshopper in our garage!  I liked to look at him, but I never tried to touch him and Mom was really surprised because when Dad gave me a tiny frog one time I almost squeezed it to death!  I decided to kill some time and mow the driveway.  Mowing is one of my favorite activities and Dad never pays enough attention to the driveway - I guess someone has to do it.  I always get excited when Dad drives up from work and like to get in the truck with him.  I'm getting this driving thing down, I just wish I could reach the pedals so I could go where I want!

String Beans

We went to the Children's zoo last night for "Wild Wednesday" to see the String Beans play.  For those of you that don't know, they are a very popular kids group here in the Midwest.  I had a lot of fun watching the bigger kids dance and would sway back and forth to the music every now and then. However, the real highlight was playing in the sand.  I was a real mess when we left but it was worth it!

Weekend with the Youngs

We went to Kearney last weekend to meet up with Grammy and Grandpa Doug as well as Uncles Kenton, Travis, Shane and Dan and Aunts Tricia and Sally.  I always have such a good time when I see them.  Mom tried to get a picture of me with everyone, but I pal around with Uncle Dan most of the time so it's kind of hard.  Good thing we will get to see all of them again soon - maybe we can get some more pictures then!

The Hardins

We got to see Shelby, Sarah, Ethan and Brandon in Kearney this weekend.  I think Ethan is such a cool kid - he was showing me how to wrestle with Daddy.  He had some good moves that I think I will try.  I also got to meet his new baby brother Brandon.  I did really good patting him on the head and rocking his car seat.  I think I'm ready to be a big sister now.  Babies really aren't so bad. Although, if Mom or Dad were holding him I wanted them to hold me also.  I think the adults are in for some trouble when we get a little older.  Two boys and two girls - they better keep an eye on us!  Hope to see you guys again soon!

Lancaster County Fair

We went to the Lancaster County Fair Thursday evening when Dad got off work.  I think it's the best place I have ever been!  We walked around the rides, but I don't think I was quite ready for them so now I have something to look forward to next year!  I got my first sucker from a nice guy at the Lincoln Democrats booth.  They sure know how to get my vote!  My favorite part by far though were all the animals.  I got to see big girls riding horses and liked to point at them and say "neigh".  I also liked to clap for the girls and say "Yay" when they did a good job.  I couldn't believe all the neat animals they had in cages.  I kept trying to touch them, but as you can see in a couple of pictures Dad kept pulling my hand back.  Sometimes I think he is a little overprotective, but I guess it's a good thing to keep all my fingers.  Some nice boy let me pet a chicken.  It's not a great picture, but he was so soft.  I was pretty amazed by the birds and really wanted to pet a goat, but these didn't get close enough.  I figured out the best way to get the goats to come to me was to get Mom to buy them some food.  It's always funny when they eat from my hand.  I also got to see a horse up close, but I really wanted Dad to put me down so I could get a closer look.  On our way out we got everyone's favorite treat - a funnel cake!  Next year I will get to share all the fun with my baby sister.  I can't wait!

Wearing Daddy's Shirt

I found one of Daddy's old shirts that Mom sleeps in this morning and decided that if it's cool enough for them that I should be wearing it also!  Mom was afraid I would fall down because it was so long, but I did a pretty good job.  I wore it all morning until Mom made me take it off for lunch.  I wasn't too happy about it, but I have a feeling they haven't seen the last of this shirt on me!

Wednesday Fun

Sorry it's been a while since you have heard from me, but there hasn't been a whole lot going on. Mom and I met our friends at the Children's Museum yesterday and then went to lunch at Noodles and Company.  There are only a couple of pictures because I move around so much there Mom has a hard time getting me still.  I was on the phone at the "vet's office" and an older boy took the phone from me and told the person on the other line that their dog was dead!  I'm glad I'm not old enough to understand what that means.  I also had fun pounding on this machine - it made lots of loud obnoxious sounds.  Mom and Dad said they are glad we don't have one of these at home.  After my nap I helped Mom water the flowers.  I'm getting to be such a great helper.  I know Mom will appreciate this once my baby sister arrives.  I'm finally getting in my last molar so that means I have 12 teeth!  I love to brush my teeth so I will have to be sure to get a picture of me doing it.
