We ventured out in the cold weather to go to our first parade a couple weeks ago. Apparently we didn't get there early enough to get a front row seat (which we didn't bring chairs for anyway), but Dad's shoulders worked just fine for me and Mom held Lexi. We enjoyed hot chocolate while we were waiting and got the heck out of there after we saw Elmo. It was just too cold to stay much longer and we were ready for lunch!
